Go, Team Katy!

We’d be nowhere without all the people who have surrounded Katy with their love and support, teaching and mentoring her, and helping her launch her music and all that goes with it.

Rob Seals – You ROCK! Producer extraordinaire and the most fab songwriting coach. Your contribution to Katy’s development as an artist has been immense, and you’ve just begun! And, holding this family together through some interesting predicaments has been a great bonding experience. Hats off to you, our friend!

Team Katy Music:

Rob’d say, “Guess who I got to play bass?” and we’d be beaming in anticipation cuz we were getting some major label players. YAY! On bass: Sean Hurley (Vertical Horizon). Drums! Ryan Brown, Billy Hawn (Charlotte Martin) and Craig MacIntyre (Josh Groban). Piano and viola: Beth Balmer (fielding). Keyboards: Mike Mangan (The Voyd). Rob Seals, we can’t forget to acknowledge your driving guitars and fabulous arranging, every step of the way. Thanks to all of you, Katy’s music truly rocks. Bill Wolf, thanks for mastering the demo – it was awesome. And finally, hats off to Mitch Zelezny for the generous assistance and expertise in mastering the album.

Dave Stroud – You must work for the help-line in your spare time. Always answering distress calls! Your thoughtful assistance has been a godsend to us -- and to top it off you can sing! You’ve strengthened not only Katy’s voice, but her resolve as a music artist. Hand-picking Rob Seals to help Katy was a great service. We mean, huge! Big hugs and thank you!

Kimberly Milo – It’s great to have some girl-power on this team. Katy’s vocal development has come a long way, hasn’t it? She’s always liked having another female voice to help her along. We love you!

Bob Estrin – Keeping Katy’s hands on the keys continues to help her development as a music artist. Katy’s not a classical kid, yet you welcome her and give her more musical power, with an approach tailored just for Katy. She’s an interesting work-in-progress!

Team Katy Pro Track:

Chuck E. Myers and Tino Saiki of Big Idea Music Productions, you’ve given Katy the memory of a lifetime recording her first live band song. Again! Again! Thanks to Jean Renard with Seth Riggs Entertainment Group and all the Big Idea team for believing in Katy, including the band Dean Kaelin, Joel Stevenett, Doug Collins, Tommy Hopkins, and engineer Kyle Ellison. What a great experience!

Al Bowman – With a heart of gold, this man makes things happen. You are priceless! You’ve treated us like good friends from the moment we met, always respecting us and often time teaching us! Katy’s confidence has grown, not only from the opportunities you’ve sent her way, but from the kind and uplifting remarks you’ve made to and about her.

Ginger Lewis – Gosh, Katy needs more friends like you. Support the Troops Tour 2005 was an unbelievable opportunity and accomplishment for Katy – well, for all of you! Keep singing…it’s always from your heart. And the touring band, to Katy this now seems for real. Hats off to Josh, Tom, Sean, Patrick, Andre, Maura, Demi, Jennifer, and Jessica. Cuba was awesome!

Bradford Rogne!!! We love your playlist – the hours of it. We’ll be back and you can turn up the music loud! Better yet, we love your camera! Where would this Web site and all the beautiful print work be without you? – nowhere! You’ve helped Katy (and her Mom) feel beautiful! And, for all the world to see that there are many sides to Katy. We’ll be back for another photoshoot soon.

Henry Ruddle – We’ve come a long way since Bye Bye Birdie, eh? You stick with us no matter what. Thanks for pulling Katy’s print and Web material together in a time crunch and on budget. She’s official now!

Katie Muller – It was so good to have you on board for the liner notes and CD art to help effect Katy’s vision for the look of her album. You were endlessly patient and always said, “Yes!” to our quirky and labor intensive requests. Thank you so much.

Bobby Deal – Thanks for making us deal after deal, with fast turnaround. Now that we’ve got ‘em, we can sell ‘em. The CDs are music to us!
